Amazing Things I’ve Learned From Bad Sex

I mean really, really bad sex. And there are a whole lot of different ways sex can be just terrible. Here’s what I’ve learned from bad sex, because sometimes you have to take criticism on board
1.That Chemistry Outside The Bedroom Doesn’t Mean Chemistry Inside The Bedroom
Some of the worst sex I’ve had has been with people that I liked the most — whether it’s actual romantic feelings or just someone I have a great flirt with, it doesn’t guarantee bedroom chemistry. You need to get into bed before you can tell.
2. That Sometimes It Comes Down To Style

sex
Like I said, sometimes it’s not anyone’s fault. I’ve had sex that I haven’t enjoyed at all, but my friend describes as “great sex.” Similarly, some of my friends roll their eyes at the idea of dirty talk, which I really like
3.To Take Criticism
And sometimes it is my fault. Or rather, I’m doing something they don’t like. Learning to be cool with someone saying, “Oh, can you try this instead?” or, “That doesn’t really do it for me,” was a great building block to having good communication about sex. You’re so vulnerable during sex that it’s easy to shut down when anyone comments on what you do in the bedroom. But try to get over it — it’s not personal.
4. That I Need Some Noise

sex
Bad sex teaches you what doesn’t work for you. Personal pet peeve? Quiet sex. That really quiet sex? It weirds me out. I’ve learned that I’m with someone who doesn’t make any noise — moan, talking, something — I need to turn on some music or it’s just not going to be fun.

SPERM| how much do you really know about sperm?

truth behind a few common myths about sperm and semen.
MYTH: You can't get pregnant from pre-ejaculate or "pre-cum."

Pre-ejaculate can contain sperm. Stefan Malloch/Shutterstock
Most of the time, pre-ejaculate - the semen-like fluid that sometimes comes out of a penis before ejaculation - is just a lubricating substance produced by the prostate. However, there is a small chance that it might contain enough viable sperm to result in a pregnancy.

"There is always the chance that there are some sperm present in the pre-ejaculate, especially if someone masturbated briefly before sexual intercourse as part of foreplay. Technically, anything that is being produced as part of ejaculate could include some cells of sperm," Dr. Sendler told INSIDER.

If you're concerned with avoiding pregnancy, using a barrier method like a condom is always a good idea.

MYTH: Semen has a high nutritional content if swallowed.

Semen has fructose but you won't get any nutritional benefits. Shutterstock/Image Point Fr
Sorry - semen isn't a good replacement for your daily multivitamin.

"It has a lot of fructose, which nourishes sperm. But don't count on getting full of energy after swallowing anyone's load. Our stomach acid will effectively burn up the relatively tiny nutritional value of the ejaculate," said Dr. Sendler.

Though a healthy diet has been shown  to improve semen quality, consuming semen itself won't have much of an impact on your nutrition.

MYTH: Sperm can live for days on items like sheets, towels, and underwear.

Sperm can live inside the body for five days, but can't survive outside the body. Shutterstock
Sperm can't normally live on clothing, skin, and other surfaces for longer than a few moments. When semen dries or is exposed to extreme temperatures, the ability for the sperm in that semen to fertilize an egg diminishes significantly.

"Some people believe that laying in bed where a man ejaculated before could make them pregnant — that's not true at all. The sperm needs to be present inside of the woman, freshly after being ejaculated from the penis to successfully cause pregnancy," Dr. Sendler stated.

However, sperm can live inside the uterus for up to five days. This is why it's technically possible to get pregnant as a result of unprotected sex during menstruation.

MYTH: Sperm quality stays the same for a person's entire life.

Sperm quality changes as you age. Shutterstock
It's true that people with male reproductive organs can usually keep having children as long as they are able to produce sperm. However, that doesn't mean that the quality of that sperm won't change over the years.

"Though men continue to make fresh sperm cells each day until they die, we know from research evidence that because of the aging process, the genetic machinery to fix sperm cells that are defective decreases," said Dr. Sendler.
This means that the quality of sperm  tends to decrease with age. Dr. Sendler noted that this is why people with penises who over 50 have a greater chance of having children with genetic abnormalities or disorders. There is also some evidence that the risk of miscarriage may increase with paternal age.

MYTH: The foods you eat don't affect your semen.

Eating healthy can help you sperm. Flickr/Sonny Abesamis
Maintaining a healthy diet is great for your overall health, but eating well may also help keep your sperm in good shape.

"Poor diet could make sperm 'less viable,' meaning it doesn't swim as fast as it should because it doesn't get enough source of fuel to produce energy," Dr. Sendler said.

And what about the idea that eating certain foods will make your semen taste different? Dr. Sendler relayed that there's actually some truth to this.

"There can be variability in taste depending on what we eat. But this change in taste will rarely be noticeable for most people," he noted.

MYTH: The amount of semen produced correlates with how much the person enjoyed sex.

The amount of ejaculation doesn't correlate with the quality of sex. trumzz/ iStock
There's a common misconception that when someone produces a small amount of semen after ejaculating, they didn't find the sex very pleasurable. Similarly, some people think that witnessing their partner produce a large amount of semen means that the sex was amazing.

According to Dr. Sendler, this isn't really the case. Though there are people who just produce less semen - and that's totally normal for them - a small volume of semen usually means that ejaculation occurred before there was enough time and stimulation for the glands to build up a greater volume of semen.

"The key is abortive stimulation, where the male is almost ready to ejaculate but doesn't allow it. Over a span of several such events, the amount of semen, excitation, and pressure of propulsion all build up, creating that perfect fountain of ejaculate."

The takeaway: if you're concerned about your semen volume, slow stimulation and delaying ejaculation will likely do the trick.

MYTH: Sperm swims straight towards the egg.

Sperm moves all around on the way to the egg. Shutterstock
The prime directive of a sperm cell is to speed its way towards an egg as fast as it can, but sperm doesn't actually swim in a straight line. Instead, they usually take a more roundabout route to the finish line.

"Sperm cells like to swim around in a wiggling motion. The tail of the sperm keeps wagging forcefully like dog's tail, which throws off its direction of movement all the time," said Dr. Sendler.

He explained that this erratic motion actually creates competition between all the different sperm cells, meaning that the fastest one to arrive at the egg first, despite all the wriggling, gets to fertilize it.

MYTH: Having thicker semen means you're more fertile.

The thickness of the semen doesn't indicate the sperm count in it. George Rudy/Shutterstock
The consistency of semen doesn't necessarily indicate anything about the fertility of the person producing it. Though some people may be concerned about having thinner or more watery semen, the thickness of ejaculate doesn't usually say anything about someone's ability to have children.

"Thickness results from a lot of different factors, but primarily the length of stimulation. If we use less time to stimulate the penis, and, as a consequence, we ejaculate faster — the thickness of semen will be decreased," said Dr. Sendler

He added that things like diet and overall health can also affect how semen looks and feels.

"It is important to recognize that the prostate dictates the ingredients of the semen. Therefore, if someone is sick, the quality of the semen will be affected as well," he said.

MYTH: How much semen someone produces is the most important part of fertility.

The amount of semen doesn't dictate fertility levels. Warner Bros. Television
When it comes to getting someone pregnant, the amount of semen isn't that important.

"All that matters is the quality and concentration of sperm…the bulk of liquid simply protects the sperm, but the sperm cells will get to swim where they need to be, regardless of the quantity of fluid they arrived in," Dr. Sendler stated.

This means that as long as ejaculate has enough high-quality sperm, it will generally be able to fertilize an egg no matter the volume of the semen itself.

MYTH: Tight pants and underwear don't actually have much of an effect on sperm.
Tight garments do actually have a measurable effect on fertility. As Dr. Sendler explained, sperm cells require a precise temperature balance to remain viable. Clothing or underwear that constricts the testicles and holds them close to the body actually raises their internal temperature, decreasing the quality and number of the sperm within.

"We've learned that competitive athletes who often take long, hot baths to relax their muscles have significantly decreased fertility due to the temperature imbalance and overheating of the testicles. Therefore, it is clear that tight underwear is perfectly fine for sexual activities as a tool to arouse and excite, but shouldn't be a part of regular clothing routine," he advised.

MYTH: All sperm basically behaves the same way.
A person's sperm is as individual as they are. Besides carrying unique genetic information, sperm can actually act differently from person to person.

"There is a lot of variability in how the sperm behaves, depending on our genetics, whether [the person] has any diseases or disorder syndromes, and the quality of the immune system," Dr. Sendler told INSIDER.

Keeping fit and free of a disease can ensure your sperm behaves in a way that increases the chances of successful conception and healthy offspring.

Man accused of stealing clothes shows up in court naked (Photo)

There was a dramatic scene at a Kenyan Court when a man accused of stealing clothes appeared in court naked.

The suspect, 32-year-old Kenyan, Alex Jana Mugo was arrested on Sunday after he was caught with stolen clothes.

Appearing before Resident Magistrate Jean Ndegeri of  Embu Law Courts on Monday, he told a stunned courtroom that his clothes were taken away after being stripped naked by officers at Embu Police Station where he was detained after his arrest, reports Citizen TV.

It was also heard in court that the clothes the accused was wearing on the day of his arrest were part of those he allegedly stole and was therefore forced to remove them so that they could be used as an exhibit.

He was reportedly offered other clothes to put on, but he declined, insisting that he would only accept the confiscated clothes.

Mugo, who was brought to court with only a piece of clothing covering his private parts, had attempted to strip naked in the courtroom in front of the lady magistrate.

According to Citizen TV, he did not take a plea after the prosecution applied for the matter to be postponed since the accused was deemed inappropriately dressed.

Ways You Can Make Money Online

Ways You Can  Make Money Online
For many people, making money online would be an absolute dream come true. If they could find a way to make money with a website or some other online venture, they could quit their job to focus on entrepreneurship, spend more time with their family, and finally take back control of their time and their lives.

The crazy thing is, earning money online isn’t a pipe dream. I have been doing it for nearly a year. I also know thousands of other people who are earning money online their own way with websites, courses, or unique marketing strategies.

Now, here’s the good news. The majority of online revenue strategies aren’t that complicated. Like any business venture, your online income takes time to grow. You need to be willing to devote the time and energy required to get your idea off the ground, and you need grit to stick with it even if your journey is slow when you first start out.

If you’re wishing to earn money online but aren’t sure where to start, here are several of the best and most realistic strategies to consider:

#1: Google Adsense
If you’ve visited any website, you’ve seen Google ads. These ads are everywhere, and for good reason. Not only are they easy to set up on any basic website, but they can be lucrative once your website starts bringing in a steady amount of traffic.

One of the cool things about Google AdSense is that it’s so easy to get set up. If you have a blog or website, you can sign up for a free Google AdSense Account. From there, Google will give you a unique code that you will paste onto your website. Google takes it from there, tracking your page views, traffic, and earnings on your behalf. There is no upkeep or maintenance to get this thing going, which makes it a no-brainer if you have a website already

#2: Affiliate Marketing
Whether you have a website or are still dreaming up ideas for a blog, you can also look into affiliate marketing. With affiliate marketing, you partner with brands and businesses within the content of your website. If you mention a product or service, you link to that produce or service using a unique affiliate code you received when you signed up for that particular affiliate program. From there, you’ll make money any time someone buys a product or service through your link.

If you’re looking for inspiration, I made #9058 helping a friend to shop.
If you wanna do affiliate marketing, sign up with jumia and get your affiliate code
3.YouTube
YouTube is another platform that has made it possible for people to earn money online. There are a ton of YouTube channels  if you can think of, and most of the people with a big following are earning some money in exchange for their videos and time.
4.Sponsored Posts
If you have a website or a large social media following, you can also make money by pursuing sponsored posts and ads. But, how does this work? Basically, companies are willing to pay bloggers and social media influencers to promote their products and services. If you have a platform, be it a blog or a huge Instagram following, you can cash in.

Benefits Of Donating Blood

The average healthy adult human has about 5 litres of blood.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people worldwide including children with illnesses like severe malaria, accident victims, cancer patients and women with complications of childbirth; require blood donation to live.
They either require whole blood with all its accompanying constituents or specific blood products, like platelets.

These products are separated by scientific procedures and are useful for more people with specific needs.

To replace lost blood products, only blood donated (often grouped, crossmatched and screened before use) is considered perfect for replacement.

January being the blood donor month makes it a time for creating awareness for healthy members of society to donate blood frequently as blood can only be stored for a limited time after donation.

You can only donate about 500ml of blood with at least 8 weeks between donations. The body replenishes the lost blood within 2 days after donation.

Below are five benefits of donating blood:

The joy of giving

As humans, blood cannot be manufactured, people in need with illnesses such as cancer can only get treatment from donated blood.

One donation can save up to three lives and knowing this gives the donor a sense of good feeling and significance, like a superhero!

Reduction of risks of developing heart and liver disease

Frequent blood donations help keep the iron levels in the body at a level beneficial to the body.

When there is iron overload, the excess iron is stored primarily in the heart and liver and can cause severe damage to these organs. It also reduces the total cholesterol level in the blood.

Reduces the risk of cancer

For certain cancers related to high iron levels like liver, colon and stomach cancer, regular blood donation can reduce the risk of developing these cancers.

Weight loss

Donating blood may be beneficial, especially to those hoping to lose weight. This is because each unit of blood donated rids you of about 650 calories. You should, however, check with your doctor if this appropriate for you as it is not a conventional method of achieving weight loss.

Uncover potential health issues

During the screening process before blood donation is commenced, the donor is assessed for their physical fitness and checked for common infectious diseases before getting certified to donate blood.

This has proven helpful and can help detect current illnesses or identify red flags for other conditions.

USE VITAMIN C TO PREVENT PREGNANCY

USE VITAMIN C TO PREVENT PREGNANCY

If you are looking for ways to prevent pregnancy naturally, vitamin C is a great option. You could either consume Vitamin C rich food or consume Vitamin C supplements.
Taking Vitamin C is another method of birth control which is known as the best form of natural birth control.  Vitamin C contains ascorbic acid. Consuming it in more than required amounts tends to interfere with the progesterone hormone which prepares the uterus for pregnancy and hence prevents pregnancy.

HOW TO USE  VITAMIN C EFFECTIVELY
Vitamin C can be used in various effective ways to prevent pregnancy. Let us have a look, how it can be used safely:

BEFORE SEX: Vitamin C tablets can be placed inside the vagina before having sexual intercourse. The tablets get dissolved which turns the vagina extremely acidic and therefore the sperms are killed instantly.

HOW TO USE VITAMIN C AFTER UNPROTECTED SEX:
1. If you have had any kind of unprotected sex with your partner, inserting a vitamin C tablet can help prevent pregnancy. You may be required to insert the tablets two times a day for at least 3 days to prevent the conception process. This will kill the sperms which have located themselves inside the vagina and prevent the woman from conceiving.
Sometimes, this can cause rashes or irritation, for which you can use aloe vera for a soothing effect.

2. Taking 1500 milligrams of vitamin c twice a day for two or three days after unprotected sex could put you in the clear for pregnancy. But be careful, as taking mega doses of vitamin C does have potential side effects, like diarrhea, and should not be taken if you have certain medical issues, such as sickle cell anemia.
You can add fruits rich in vitamin C – papaya, pineapple, sugarcane, oranges , lemon juice – in your daily diet to save yourself from any kind of unplanned pregnancy.

WARNING: The overuse of Vitamin C in our body has its harmful effects. The overuse of Vitamin C can result in the vagina to become over acidic. The vagina if it gets extremely acidic will not be able to conceive in the future as well because sperms need a more alkaline base rather than acidic. It has also been proven that overuse of Vitamin C can also result in miscarriage.
It is important not to over consume Vitamin C as it may have adverse effects on your body. Also, do not use it if you are pregnant,  on anti-coagulant medication or suffering from sickle cell anaemia.

Okorocha: We are being cheated by APC

Political tension was heightened Saturday, after the first lady and leaders of the party, and women who came from the five states of the South-East were angered by the Governor’s comment forcing them to leave the stadium, Vanguard reports.

Aisha spoke at the South East Women and youths rally which held at Owerri. The mammoth crowd was watching keenly the show of force between the governor’s men and supporters of Senator Hope Uzodinma who flooded the stadium.

The Master of Ceremony hired by the state government refused to acknowledge the presence of Senator Uzodinma and Senator Ben Uwajumogu.

But pressure from party leaders who came from Abuja and and APC supporters in the state forced the MC to recognize their presence even though he sang the name of Uche Nwosu who the APC supporters protested his presence at the stadium, through out the programme.

There were gunshots from security operatives when the wife of the Imo State governor was addressing the crowd.

There were clashes between the supporters of Uche Nwosu and those of Senator Uzodinma.

Two women sustained gunshot injury and were rushed to the hospital.

Security agents had to check the looming fight between the two camps so as to save the situation.

Okorocha’s wife also refused to recognize Senator Hope to the chagrin of APC supporters.

The angry crowd booed the first lady of the State.

However, the National Woman Leader of the APC, Hajia Salamatu Bewa Eluma, urged the crowd to vote President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Hope Uzodinma and all APC candidates in the South-East.

Other speakers concurred and called for votes for APC candidates which did not go down well with Governor Okorocha, who is supporting his in-law, Uche Nwosu, the candidate of the AA.

Okorocha, who looked visibly angry, lampooned the APC, asserting that, ”the APC has not been fair to us, we are only being calm because of President Muhammdu Buhari who already has won in Imo State.

“We are going to support Buhari but let me tell you people, AFTER WE WERE CHEATED BY THE APC, in order to deliver the President, we formed an alliance with other political parties and leading among them is AA led by Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

“Do not be deceived, Uche Nwosu of AA will win the governorship election in Imo State because he is on ground.

“We have no other candidate, we will not support those with stolen mandate.”

But the President’s wife, who was represented by Wife of the Vice President Mrs Osinbajo, disagreed and urged the crowd to vote all the APC candidates both in the state and the South-East.

“I am happy with the crowd we saw today it shows that Imo is APC and I want to urge all our youths not to fight, avoid any form of crisis because President Buhari is a peaceful man. From what we have seen today President Buhari has won the South East the same way all our APC candidates have won.”

She further urged APC faithful to remain steadfast, asserting that ”a vote for Buhari is a vote for progress. APC has done well and we must all support all APC candidates.”

MY NYSC EXPERIENCE

It has always been a dream to serve in Akwa Ibom State. When I checked for my state of deployment; it was a dream come true. Off to NYSC camp at Nsit Atai, the memories remain unforgettable. It was fun all through my stay, with Agholor Christian(big man, Chris Baddo) to hang out with. In the course of the camping, I had arrangements on how to secure a plum posting to a brewery. Indeed, everyone had theirs. However, on the day of the posting (final day in camp), I confidently strolled to receive my letter. Schools were considered a bad posting because they do not pay well and one's chance of being retained after the service year was slim – who would want that anyway! Except, probably, the married women who wanted more free time to take care of their families.
I knew I was getting a brewery posting as PPA, so, no stress. On opening my letter and reading the content, I had to ask someone else to confirm what I saw –Iwerre Comprehensive Secondary School , Obotme. Blood stopped flowing to my head; everything became dizzy. Iwerre Comprehensive Secondary School?Where is that in Akwa Ibom State? That, I asked anyone who cared to listen. Curiosity led me to Kulume Emmanuela, who was also posted to the same school. Without further ado, we set out for Obotme.
First, we got to Ikot Ekpene; the zonal headquarter. There, we sort for details of Obotme from a lady who appeared to have been there and her response was, "Hmmmm, that place far oo and the road no good at all at all. In fact, you people will take a bike". In my head, different thoughts kept popping. "Is this the Akwa Ibom of your dream?" Guess you all know the answer! On bike for 1 hour, we were yet in Obotme.
We got to a place called Ikpe Ikot Okon and the bike man had to stop for us to at least drink water. We continued our journey afterward and arrived about 30 minutes later.

So, I landed in Obotme - some where close to the end of the earth, in Ini LGA of Akwa Ibom State. The people were generally nice and helpful. The youths occasionally called me to come drink/eat with them. A kind gesture I was first skeptical of because you don’t just take things from ‘strangers’. But with time, I became comfortable with taking a bit of ‘whatever’ was shared. I couldn’t speak the language - Ibibio, so communication was a serious problem. I tried getting an Akwa Ibom girlfriend, you know the general belief that Akwa Ibom girls... and that it would solve that problem.
Oh well, I looked for one but it was not meant to be. We were always left with nearly empty classes on market days, as students would have to follow their parents to the market. Also, most of the students missed school regularly due to farm activities. I remember asking a student:"why were you not in school yesterday?" and she replied: "uncle, I go farm".Lolz.
This trend affected the eagerness and aspirations of most corps members. Such situation would do that to anyone. I'm so glad friends don't come with price tags, I could never afford the wonderful friends I've got. In the course of my service year, I met a lot of wonderful people that I still maintain contact with. Michael Anene - the huge man, as I fondly called him. Thanks for believing in my judgement. This guy trusts me like kilode. He would always say he doesn't like mathematics but ask him: "Mike, if 12 people share 11k, how much will each person get".Lolz. Be sure to get an answer in a split of a second.
Thank you for all the good things and I hope to see you on top. Oti Uzoma , the lady with the biggest behind. Your Barcelona no get shaking. It was fun serving and living in the same lodge with you. If service is to be done twice and I'm to pick people I want in my PPA, your name will surely be top on the list. We had fun gisting and it was as if we have lived together before. Nnajiofor Uchennah Jonathan, correct guy. I loved your style bro. Sorry I never told you this but sincerely, I did. The only colleague I spent two nights in his room. I hope you make it big. DA Last Born. "The man of the people of Obotme". Your chemistry with the people got me thinking if you've lived there before. "Muwa bu Charlie", "even for example", those were your popular lines. It was awesome meeting you. Benjamin Emmanuel, my temporary roommate. A self made CEO. Nice meeting you man and I pray you make it big. Matthew Michael Awaji, AKA Obj. A guy with passion for comedy and has produced a lot of comic relief. You can check out some of his skits on YouTube, @objofficialcomedy. I tell you, this dude has got talent but loves fishes alot. I still remember how he would brag about the number of fishes he bought at the market. Keep up the good work.
Jerry Amos, AKA, the one who cannot die but only react to the surface of the earth and give nutrients to the plants. Thank you for confiding in me. Imonin Patience, fondly called e-money. The fine babe from Edo state. She can eat for Africa. God bless you richly, service was dope with you. Ella Ambrose, my madam. I no fit write everything about you and I cos that one na book on its own. Endowed Anambarian. I'm so grateful for the good memories I have about you and I'm sure you're going to be a huge success.
